The Biocatalytic Degradation of Organic Dyes Using Laccase Immobilized Magnetic Nanoparticles

نویسندگان

چکیده

Free laccase has limitations for its use in industrial applications that require immobilization on proper support, to improve catalytic activity. Herein, the nanoparticles of magnetic iron oxide (Fe3O4) and copper ferrite (CuFe2O4) were successfully used as support free laccase, using glutaraldehyde a cross-linker. The conditions surface optimized reach maximum activity immobilized enzyme. synthesized nanoparticle-immobilized characterized different techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). CuFe2O4 nanoparticles, enhanced compared Fe3O4 appeared during study pH, temperature, storage stability laccase. showed superior wide pH range, temperature period, up 20 days at 4.0 °C, when Additionally, nanobiocatalysts examined biodegradation anionic dye Direct Red 23 (DR23). HPLC was confirm degradation. reusability laccases DR23 investigated six successive cycles, with decolorization efficiency over 70.0%, which indicated good excellent stability.

Enhanced Performance of Magnetic Graphene Oxide-Immobilized Laccase and Its Application for the Decolorization of Dyes.

In this study, magnetic graphene oxide (MGO) nanomaterials were synthesized based on covalent binding of amino Fe3O4 nanoparticles onto the graphene oxide (GO), and the prepared MGO was successfully applied as support for the immobilization of laccase. The MGO-laccase was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Compared with free laccas...

Decolorization of industrial synthetic dyes using engineered Pseudomonas putida cells with surface-immobilized bacterial laccase

BACKGROUND Microbial laccases are highly useful in textile effluent dye biodegradation. However, the bioavailability of cellularly expressed or purified laccases in continuous operations is usually limited by mass transfer impediment or enzyme regeneration difficulty. Therefore, this study develops a regenerable bacterial surface-displaying system for industrial synthetic dye decolorization, an...
